ToolCrisp tools are designed to process files locally in your browser. Tools that run entirely on your device are clearly marked — your files never leave your device when using these tools.

What we don't do

  • We don't require accounts or login
  • We don't sell data to third parties
  • We don't use tracking cookies for advertising

How file processing works

The vast majority of ToolCrisp tools run entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you use these tools:

  • Your files are processed on your device
  • Nothing is uploaded to our servers
  • When you close the tab, the data is gone

If we ever introduce tools that require server-side processing, they will be clearly labeled and you'll be informed before any file leaves your device.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which tools are popular and how people find our site. GA4 uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. The data collected includes:

  • Page views and referral source
  • Browser type and country (anonymous, aggregated)
  • IP addresses are anonymized by Google

We do not track your file contents, file names, or any data you process with our tools. Analytics data is used solely to improve ToolCrisp.
