What databases does this tool check?

Currently it checks URLhaus by abuse.ch, a widely-used malware URL database. URLhaus is used by ISPs, hosting providers, and security researchers worldwide.

Is a clean result a guarantee that the URL is safe?

No. A clean result means the URL was not found in the databases checked. New threats may not be listed yet. Always exercise caution with unfamiliar links.

What does the safety score mean?

The score ranges from 0 to 100. A score of 80+ means no threats were detected. Lower scores indicate the URL was flagged by one or more security databases.

Is the URL I check stored or logged?

No. The URL is sent directly from your browser to the URLhaus API. ToolCrisp does not store, log, or transmit any URLs you check.
