What file types can I add to the ZIP?

Any file type is supported — documents, images, videos, code, spreadsheets, and more. There are no restrictions on file format.

How does compression level work?

Level 0 stores files without compression (fastest). Level 9 applies maximum DEFLATE compression (smallest file, slowest). The default level 6 is a good balance between speed and size.

Is there a file size or count limit?

You can add up to 50 files, each up to 100 MB. For very large archives, consider splitting into multiple ZIPs.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. All compression happens entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files never leave your device.
